May and June crafts, part 1

I started to organize my all crafts stuff and I founded many yarn leftovers. I decided to use all leftovers.

A few colourful coasters.

 A bolero for Milda, did from leftovers too.

 I crochet another skirt for Milda, but do not finished yet. I want to find a right fabric to sew under it.
and I did a few unsuccessful attempts to chrochet a matching jacket, but I found right pattern and now it is only a matter of time (and my will) :)

Today is my birthday and I’m very happy… and I can’t believe I am 26 :D

Update...

It’s been a while – many things had happen over this time.

First of all we (me and Milda) finally visited my sister. It was an exciting trip for us both – flight with plane, other country. We saw only a small part of Norway, but it was an amazing adventure to see it. [I’m afraid my English is too poor to describe all my impressions] :)

Second – not so good surprise, when we came back home. My PC hard disc burned with all mine study material and with my final work to get bachelor degree :( … and with all photos, knitting patterns, etc. :(( I would have been had had my diploma this week, and now I can only hope, that specialists will be able to repair disc over the summer...

 

And a bright side of the story – I could pass my exams with no stress and start my summer vacation earlier. I did some knitting and crocheting, which show you later. And I even tried out decoupage  technique for first time... :)

I‘m tangling while I can...

Spring semester coming to the end and I have a lot of work to do in my study’s… and I still planning trip to visit my sister and her family in Norway.
So I have to put aside my hobby projects until summer.

Skirt for Milda. It is a little bit too long, but I hope soon it’ll be fit.

Happy Mother's Day

First Sunday of May is Mother's Day here in Lithuania.
This is my second Mother's Day as a mom and I can’t imagine greater happiness than being a mom.

I wish for all mothers around the world everyday happiness with their children.

Back to crocheting...

Weathers become wormer and I put knitting aside. Now it’s crocheting time :)

 I crochet by this scheme, only few rows bigger in the end.

Lazy weekend

Friday is my day at home, because I have nobody to look after my girl. This Friday vas very windy and rainy, so almost all day we spend inside watching movies :)

 ...and here is my all day knit :)

 

Saturday and Sunday was very windy too, but it was not raining, so we spend a lot of time outside in the yard.

  Milda only recently discovered the moon... 

 ...and moon gazing is very fun thing to do.

  Finally I manage to take a picture of starling. Starling song wakes up us every morning :)

We did a lit of drawing in the weekend too :) Milda was very happy to draw with me such big picture.

 

 

The beginning of the week was very busy and full of stress. I have to do so many things with studies and at home over this week… I hope it all turns up fine.

Recently projects

A bee costume for Milda.

Simply knitted two piece costume – striped vest and shorts (+socks). Black yarn – 100 % wool and with yellow yarns I had problem finding right “bee” color. Finally I picked 70 % acryl 30 % mohera yarn. The result of these different yarns a pretty good.

Milda was satisfied with result too :)

The purpose of costume was my friend son second birthday party.

 ...and now I am mad about making baby stuff.

The madness reason is my nephew Markas. He was born on 29^th of March and I can’t wait to see him in real (not in photo or skype). The problem is, that my sister with husband and the little one lives in Norway.

I hope I’ll be able to take break in my studies and Milda’s passport comes on time, to take a trip this month, otherwise we meet Markas only in summer.

Sula - juice of birch

 Yesterday we (me, my parents and Milda) went to our forest for birch juice.

Milda tasted it right a way :)

Legacy of last summer storm.

We have meet only one animal and Milda went crazy trying to catch it :)

 

I haven’t been in our forest for a long time and it was wonderful to take a walk in it :)

I thought about start my blog for some time.

I’m goanna blog about me and my life – raising daughter Milda, crafting, enjoying creating happy life… and dreaming dreams which inspires me to do new things :D
